Tianchang 150mwp Water Surface Photovoltaic Power Generation Project Grid Connected Starts Operation

      Water surface photovoltaic power generation is a new type solar power generation with broad prospect of development. NCC standing at the economic front and catching the business opportunity, follows the trend and obtain market share. Tianchang water surface photovoltaic power generation project is the second project NCC ever built. The Project is located at Dawei Village, Yangcun Township,  Tianchang City, Anhui Province, including phone one 100MW and phone two 50MW, and 110Kv power output line in total length 17Km. The Project starts on September 29, 2016 and gird connected and starts operation on August 24, 2017. 

      The Project is the first trial project using heterostructure material. The tube pile is the longest and span is largest (14.2m). The power generation system is equipped with automatic tracer. In recent 3 years, this Project is the biggest water surface photovoltaic power generation project for single unit power generation capacity in east China. Power generation system will set up on water surface, beneath which is the fishing farm pond. The Project site is along road X072. Silt at the bottom of pond is deep. Geographic condition is complex. Road is narrow. Big amount of water fall in rain season. Schedule is tight and work quantity is big. No existing construction process is available for reference for this trial project.  All these bring difficulties to the site construction. 

        Mr. Lu Yuming, Deputy Chief Engineer, Project Manager, lead the team and brainstorm for solutions including modifying the tractor, increasing width distance of tire, increasing horsepower, using clamp to hold the pile, angle steel in 2m length welded as support, set up work platform, adjusting working time, method for material transportation and tracer lifting. The success of this trial project lays solid foundation for water surface photovoltaic power generation project development. Meanwhile, cost is lowered and schedule is satisfied and social and economic benefits are obtained.
